Military Veterans
nLogic supports and participates in numerous transition programs to assist wounded and injured veterans. We are supporters of Army G-1 Veterans Transition Support Services and Wounded Warrior Programs. Currently, thirty (30) percent of our company’s staff is comprised of military veterans. nLogic veterans encompass multiple categories including disabled and wounded veterans as well as recent departures from the military. Our company has established a Warfighter Council that advises the company on relevant topics associated with military technology and warfighter challenges that ultimately benefit the soldiers.
Still Serving Veterans Program: nLogic staff members are active participants in the Still Serving Veterans (SSV) Program. The SSV mission empowers veterans and Wounded Warriors and their families to transition into post-military careers and communities. The SSV provides outreach and education assistance in obtaining all US Department of Veterans Affairs benefits and training for meaningful new careers; individual advocacy and case management support; community partnerships with Veteran Service Organizations for quality referrals; and long-term career development and employment placement. Army Career & Alumni Program: nLogic is a registered employer with the Army Career & Alumni Program (ACAP). Our recruitment staff works with prospective candidates to provide employment opportunities upon departure from the Army. ACAP provides soldiers and their eligible family members both transition and job assistance services at most Army installations. ACAP services include pre-separation counseling and employment assistance in addition to providing Veterans Opportunity to Work (VOW) Act mandated workshops and products. The VOW events include transition overview, VA benefits briefings I and II, Department of Labor employment workshop, financial planning seminar, and capstone. These courses produce the following required deliverables: individual transition plan, gap analysis, resume, and a 12 month post-service transition budget. All soldiers must receive the mandatory pre-separation counseling and complete DD Form 2648 Pre-separation Counseling Checklist for Active Component Service Members in addition to completing DD Form 2958 Service Members Individual Transition Plan Checklist prior to leaving the installation.
